The collection has started with only 12 items, but expanded to over 150 items today by the requests of celebrity chefs, distributors and retailers all over the world. This is still No. 1 collection for GLOBAL.
Designed by Komin Yamada, in collaboration between Master Cutlery and Williams Sonoma, the largest kitchenware retailer in U.S., GLOBAL SAI knives were launched in 2012. These knives feature 3-ply stainless steel blade, with a core of CROMOVA 18 stainless steel protected by two outer layers of SUS410 stainless steel. Each blade has an individually hammered pattern design on it. These knives are engineered to make the blades at least 10% sharper and last longer than GLOBAL CLASSIC knives out of the box. GLOBAL SAI knives sit as GLOBAL’s premium range with innovative design handle ever.

These knives are engineered to make the blades at least 10% sharper and last longer than GLOBAL CLASSIC knives out of the box. The collection adopts Oriental Cook Knives’ blade design which have distinctive oriental tip . The dots on handle were chosen not to make black.

While entire knife is made of stainless steel, it uses angular shaped handle resembling traditional Japanese knives’ handle. Black dots are applied in three rows on the underside of the handle.
